Standing Ground is a portrait inspired by the Queen Amidala character of the Star Wars movie franchise. The gown was created by Jacob Meir of For the Stars Fashion House and is all in one piece. When model Tatiana put it on, I began to direct her into various power poses. As an actor and martial artist herself, she quickly embodied this fierce and regal character. This portrait has won many awards worldwide, including First Place at American Society of Photographers' Images of Distinction.
